In this class, we focus on breathing, alignment of your body and observation of how your mind and body work together and connect. We do not stay in a pose for a long period of time, and practice exploring your own physical edges. The benefits are mainly physical, as the poses relieve stress and tension in your body and increase strength and flexibility.
ALL LEVELS Yoga
In this class, we explore our practice as we hold postures for a longer period of time. We comfortably encourage our body to do as much as it can while at the same time being aware of our limitations. We will drop in a little deeper and explore self awareness, learning to listen to our bodies and not to our inner voices or external distractions.
Yoga for Kids with Special Needs
In this class we will be exploring yoga postures while emphasizing breath with movement. We incorperate fun games and dance to allow the children to express thier full self. We will often play a variety music and use instruments.Props and bolsters are used to help support and modify poses so the child feels safe and comfortable.An ongoing yoga practice will help create stronger and more flexible bodies,aiding in less tension and stress. At the end of practice we do a relaxation pose that helps calm your child, therefore helping them to have a better nights rest.
